Costco Reaches New Fundraising Record for CHOC Children’s
From May 1st through May 31st, Costco warehouses across Orange County raised money for CHOC Children’s Hospital by selling miracle balloons at the register.
For the past 32 years, Costco members and employees in Orange County have been helping make miracles for the patients and families at CHOC Children’s. This past May alone, they raised $712,711 – a major increase from the $619,404 raised in 2018!
Warehouse #690 in Laguna Niguel on Heather Ridge earned the top spot as highest fundraising warehouse with $70,367 raised in just four weeks. Warehouse #777 in La Habra showed an incredible fundraising increase of 147% and reached a total of $51,000 raised for CHOC.
Additionally, Costco nationally donates $5M which is then divided based on all warehouses’ fundraising totals. Thank you, Costco for all that you do to support CHOC Children’s.
