Extra Lifers to game for 24 Hours to Raise Funds for CHOC Children’s
Exciting news: we are just 15 days away from our Extra Life Game Day for CHOC! What is Game Day you ask? Well from November 10th at 8:00 am to November 11th at 8:00 am, our Extra Life Orange County Guild, as well as additional Orange County Extra Lifers, will game for 24 hours to raise funds and awareness for CHOC Children’s. This year’s official Extra Life Game Day for CHOC Event will be held at PLAYlive Nation in Fullerton. From video games and live streaming on twitch, to table top games and fun raffles, Game Day is sure to be a great time.
A little background on Extra Life: Extra Life is an organization that unites thousands of players (video gamers and table top gamers) around the world in a 24-hour fundraising and gaming marathon to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (here in Orange County, that means CHOC). Many of the gamers hold a personal connection to CHOC, whether it’s through personal experience as a former patient or as the sibling, friend or even parent of a current or former patient.
