Moustaches 4 Kids OC celebrates $65,000 for CHOC Children’s at their plaque unveiling in Hyundai Cancer Institute

M4KOC is a community of moustache “growers” who raise money in Orange County for charities supporting children. Through competitions, fun events, and the support of their friends and families, the growers raised about $65,000 for CHOC Children’s during their spring 2019 fundraiser.

Growing season starts with The Clean Shave, where growers pay their Stache Tax (to help fund their events). Each week, they have check ins with events like family bowling and trivia night. Throughout the season, growers that raise over $1,000 are inducted into the elite ‘Selleck Society’ and compete for prizes like ‘Sweetest Stache’ or ‘Best Stache Name’. The season culminates with The Stache Bash, where the fundraising total is announced and the coveted prizes are awarded!

In appreciation for the hard work of the M4KOC growers, CHOC Children’s proudly unveiled the Moustaches for Kids, Orange County Physicians Workroom. This room is located within the Hyundai Cancer Institute.

Thank you to the growers, family, friends and donors that supported this fun campaign – and best of luck to the M4KOC team as they ramp us for their 2020 growing season!
