Walmart and Sam’s Club knocks it out of the park in the first week of fundraising for CHOC Children’s!

What a week!

Since their campaign began on June 22nd, Walmart and Sam’s Club associates have been hard at work supporting their local CMN Hospitals. The 16 Supercenters, 3 Sam’s Clubs and 7 Neighborhood Market stores in Orange County are rallying together to raise funds for CHOC Children’s Hospital. Every dollar raised will be donated to Orange County’s only pediatric hospital, treating over 220,000 patients each year.

We want to take a moment to recognize some stores that have had some impressive results so far –

Highest fundraising locations to date:

Supercenter #3248 (1340 S Beach Blvd, La Habra)

Sam’s Club #4735 (1390 S. Beach Blvd, La Habra), also raising over half of last’s year’s total!

Neighborhood Market #4134 (12840 Beach Blvd, Stanton)

We also want to give a special shout out to:

Supercenter #2206 (27470 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Niguel) for raising over 60% of last year’s total already! They are well on their way to surpassing last year!

Walmart and Sam’s Club have donated over $1 billion to CMN Hospitals since the partnership began in 1983. These funds provide critical support that allows the CMN Member Hospitals, like CHOC Children’s, provide life changing care to over 10 million children every year!

You can support your local CMN Hospital by making a donation at check out at any Walmart or Sam’s Club through July 19th!

We look forward to continuing to celebrate the many exciting milestones to come with Walmart and Sam’s Club!
