Happy Lunar New Year

Friday, February 12, 2021, marks the beginning of Lunar New Year and the Year of the Ox in the Chinese zodiac. Lunar New Year celebrates the coming together of family and friends to feast and welcome the new year and is the most important festival in China.

The beginning of a new year gives us the opportunity to not only reflect, but also to look forward. Moving into the new year, CHOC Children’s is elated to celebrate all that Panda Express continues to do to support the kids cared for by CHOC.

Since 2007, Panda Express has been bringing good fortune by asking for donations at the register all year long. The funds donated stay local to make the greatest impact patients and families cared for by CHOC. 

With the generosity of Panda Express associates and guests, local Panda Express restaurants raised $319,159.24 for CHOC in 2020! 

We are grateful for the ongoing partnership with Panda and the many ways they address the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of children, bringing them courage and hope to heal and thrive. #PandaCares
