Thank you to the California RX Card for donating over $6000 to CHOC Children’s in 2019!

The California RX Card is a free statewide prescription drug assistance card that allows users to save up to 80% on medications. This card is free, confidential and accepted at more than 68,0000 pharmacies nationwide.

In support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, the California RX Card generated a donation for CHOC Children’s Hospital each time a prescription is processed in Orange County, California.

Since this program began, the California RX Card has donated over $37,000 to CHOC.

In 2019, over $6,000 in donations were processed.

Donations from the California RX Card are unrestricted, meaning that they allow CHOC to direct those funds to support the greatest need. Some of the programs that receive support through unrestricted funding include Child Life and providing uncompensated care. CHOC Children’s will provide over $50 million this year in uncompensated care, ensuring that every child in Orange County and beyond can receive world class treatment and support.
