Walmart and Sam’s Club Stores in Orange County raise over $227,000 for CHOC Children’s Hospital!

It is with much excitement that we share that the 26 Walmart, Sam’s Club and Neighborhood Market stores in Orange County have raised over $227,000 for CHOC Children’s Hospital during their 2020 campaign! The associates went above and beyond to surpass their 2019 total by over $38,000!

The funds raised by Walmart and Sam’s Club support KidsCARE at CHOC – an unrestricted designation that allows the hospital to use the donated funds for their greatest need. It is with unrestricted funds like these that allows CHOC to continue to adapt to the changing environment of the COVID-19 pandemic while maintaining a world-class level of care for the many other patients treated at CHOC.

We want to recognize a few stores that were superstars this year!

Supercenter #2546 (2300 N Tustin St, Orange) was the highest fundraising location with almost $24,000 raised!

Neighborhood Market #4134 (12840 Beach Blvd, Stanton) was the highest fundraising Neighborhood Market, raising over $10,700!

Sam’s Club #6615 (17099 Brookhurst St, Fountain Valley) was the highest fundraising Sam’s Club, raising over $7,500!

And Supercenter #2517 (3600 W McFadden Ave, Santa Ana) had the highest year over year growth, increasing their fundraising by an incredible 168%!
